  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2–3 oz club soda

  • Ice (crushed or cubes)
  • Maraschino cherry (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Pit and halve 1/2 cup fresh cherries per drink. If using frozen, thaw and drain first. Place cherries in your shaker.
  2. Muddle the cherries firmly until juicy but still a bit chunky, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in vanilla vodka, citrus juice, cherry juice (if using), and simple syrup.
  4. Add a handful of ice (about 3/4 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well mixed and frosty.
  5. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Use a fine mesh strainer for a smoother drink or leave cherry bits for texture.
  6. Top with 2-3 oz club soda and stir gently to combine.
  7. Cut a thin strip of citrus peel, twist over the glass to release oils, then drop in or hang on the rim.

Notes
