  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A rich, creamy, and nutty frappe that combines peanut butter and coffee for a café-quality treat you can make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee or chilled brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk (whole, almond, or oat milk)
  • 1 cup (120 g) ice cubes
  • 12 teaspoons (510 ml) sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup, optional)
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Crushed peanuts or chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your coffee by chilling brewed coffee in the fridge for at least an hour if you don’t already have cold brew.
  2. Combine cold brew coffee, peanut butter, milk, and ice cubes in a blender.
  3. Add sweetener to taste, if desired, and blend for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Check the texture: if too thick, add a splash of milk and blend again; if too thin, add more ice cubes.
  5. Pour into a tall glass, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle crushed peanuts or chocolate chips on top.

Notes

[‘Use strong coffee for a robust flavor.’, ‘Blend just until smooth to avoid thinning the frappe.’, ‘Taste and adjust sweetness before serving.’, ‘Chill serving glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before pouring for an icy cold drink.’]
