- 7 ounces (200 grams) marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup (150 grams) fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Optional: 1-2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Optional: 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Finely chop 1 cup (150 grams) of fresh strawberries and drain any excess liquid.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff together with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and lemon juice.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries using a spatula.
- Taste and fold in powdered sugar if a sweeter dip is desired.
- Cover and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best texture and flavor, chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. If the dip is too thick after chilling, add a tablespoon of milk to loosen it. Use frozen strawberries thawed and drained if fresh are not available. For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and marshmallow fluff with vegan alternatives.
