Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Season the drumsticks evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, rubbing the spices gently into the skin.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, BBQ sauce, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar until smooth. Adjust sweetness or tanginess to taste.
  5. Brush or toss the drumsticks in about half of the glaze, reserving the rest for later. Place the drumsticks on the wire rack, spacing them evenly.
