Description
Quick and easy air fryer pork chops coated with ranch seasoning and parmesan for a crispy, juicy, and flavorful meal perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Olive oil spray or any neutral oil spray
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Set up breading stations: place ½ cup all-purpose flour in one shallow bowl, beat 2 large eggs in a second bowl, and combine 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese with 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (plus optional garlic powder and smoked paprika) in a third bowl.
- Dredge each pork chop first in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Press firmly into the parmesan-ranch mixture, coating evenly. For an extra thick crust, repeat the egg and parmesan step.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and let it heat for about 3 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking. Place the chops in a single layer without overlapping. Spray the top of the chops lightly with oil. Cook at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Let the chops rest for 3-5 minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
Notes
Pat pork chops dry before breading to ensure crispiness. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow proper airflow. Flip chops only once halfway through cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (145°F). For gluten-free, substitute all-purpose flour with almond or coconut flour and use gluten-free ranch seasoning. Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes.
