Cupid’s Arrow Jello Shots Recipe – Easy Festive Party Treats with Whipped Cream

  • Author: neuriox
  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 12-14 shots 1x

Description

Cupid’s Arrow Jello Shots are a fun, festive treat perfect for parties and celebrations. Fruity red gelatin is spiked with vodka and lemon-lime soda, topped with whipped cream, and garnished with playful arrow picks for a whimsical Valentine’s Day or girls’ night dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (or cherry/raspberry for color variation)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold vodka (or juice for non-alcoholic)
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite, 7UP, or club soda)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
  • Heart-shaped toothpicks or cocktail picks
  • Small paper hearts or gummies (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Arrange 12-14 small plastic shot cups (2 oz each) on a baking tray.
  2. Pour 1 cup boiling water into a mixing bowl. Add the gelatin and whisk for 2 minutes until dissolved.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup cold vodka and 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda. Whisk gently.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into shot cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  5. Transfer the tray to the fridge and chill for at least 2 hours, until set.
  6. Top each shot with a swirl or dollop of whipped cream.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter, and thread a paper heart or gummy onto a cocktail pick. Insert the pick into each shot for the ‘arrow’ effect.
  8. Serve cold, arranged on a platter.

Notes

Chill shot cups before pouring for faster setting. Don’t over-whisk gelatin to avoid bubbles. Add whipped cream and garnishes just before serving for best texture. For dairy-free, use coconut whipped cream. For vegan, use agar-based gelatin. Double the recipe for large crowds.
