Description
Juicy strawberries threaded on skewers and drizzled with rich dark and white chocolate, perfect for quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing treats.
Ingredients
Scale
- 20 medium fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped or chips
- 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped or chips
- 10–12 inch wooden skewers (soaked in water for 10 minutes if toasting)
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry about 20 medium strawberries. Remove green stems and pat dry.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes if you plan to toast kabobs later.
- Melt 6 ounces of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Melt 4 ounces of white chocolate in a separate bowl using the same method. Add a teaspoon of coconut or vegetable oil if thickened.
- Thread 3-4 strawberries onto each skewer and place on parchment paper-lined trays.
- Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the strawberries on each kabob, then drizzle or dot white chocolate over the dark chocolate to create a swirl effect. Sprinkle optional toppings immediately.
- Refrigerate kabobs for 15-20 minutes to let the chocolate set and firm up.
Notes
Dry strawberries completely before dipping to ensure chocolate sticks well. Use short microwave bursts to melt chocolate to avoid seizing. Work quickly when drizzling chocolate and adding toppings. Chill kabobs in the fridge to set chocolate but avoid freezing to maintain strawberry texture.
