Instructions

  2. Rinse, hull, and halve about 4 cups of fresh strawberries. Place them evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. If using frozen strawberries, thaw completely and drain any excess liquid.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the strawberries without stirring.
  5. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter until fully liquid (about 45 seconds in the microwave or gently on the stove).
