- 4 large flour tortillas (8-inch size recommended)
- 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 6–8 thin slices deli turkey or ham
- Thinly sliced red, yellow, or orange bell peppers
- Fresh lettuce leaves (butter lettuce or romaine)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth and spreadable. Optionally mix in dried herbs or black pepper.
- Lay out the tortillas flat on a clean surface or cutting board.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons (30g) of softened cream cheese evenly on each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer 2 thin slices of deli turkey or ham on top of the cream cheese on each tortilla.
- Arrange thin strips of bell pepper and a few fresh lettuce leaves evenly over the meat layer.
- Roll each tortilla up firmly but gently to keep the filling snug. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper.
- Chill the wrapped roll-ups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Remove from fridge, unwrap carefully, and slice each roll into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pinwheels. Arrange on a platter and serve.
