Instructions
- Prepare the Chocolate Cake: Bake your favorite chocolate cake recipe or use a store-bought one. Allow it to cool completely, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Whip the Cream: Beat 2 cups of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Make the Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk. Chill for 5 minutes until set.
- Crush the Heath Bars: Crush Heath Bars into small pieces using a knife or food processor.
- Layer the Trifle: Begin with a layer of chocolate cake cubes at the bottom of your trifle bowl. Top with a layer of pudding, followed by whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a generous sprinkle of Heath Bar bits.
- Repeat the Layers: Continue layering until you reach the top of the bowl. Finish with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and extra Heath Bar bits for garnish.
- Chill: Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld together.
