Description
A vibrant, fruity, and bubbly non-alcoholic punch perfect for festive gatherings, combining tart citrus, sweet berries, and a hint of fizz with fresh herbs and fruit-infused ice cubes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) cranberry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
- 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
- 1/2 cup (4 fl oz / 120 ml) pineapple juice
- 2 cups (16 fl oz / 480 ml) sparkling water or club soda
- 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries; fresh or frozen)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- Fresh mint leaves (a handful)
- Optional: 2 tbsp (1 fl oz / 30 ml) elderflower syrup or grenadine
- Ice cubes made with leftover fruit juice or water mixed with a few berries frozen inside
Instructions
- About 2 hours before serving, prepare fruit ice cubes by filling ice cube trays halfway with water or leftover juice, adding a few berries per cube, and freezing until solid.
- Squeeze fresh oranges and lemons to obtain the required juice amounts.
- In a large punch bowl, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Stir gently to mix.
- Slowly add sparkling water (or club soda) and ginger ale or lemon-lime soda to maintain fizz.
- Add mixed berries, orange and lemon slices, and fresh mint leaves to the punch bowl for garnish and flavor.
- Add fruit-filled ice cubes or regular ice cubes to chill the punch.
- Optionally, drizzle elderflower syrup or grenadine and stir gently to swirl color and flavor.
- Serve using a ladle into glasses filled with ice if desired, garnished with a sprig of mint or a slice of citrus.
Notes
Add sparkling water and soda just before serving to keep fizz fresh. Use fruit-infused ice cubes to chill without watering down the punch. Adjust sweetness with elderflower syrup or grenadine as needed. For a boozy version, add 1 to 1 ½ cups light rum or vodka. Prepare juice mixture and fruit up to a day ahead; add carbonation and ice at serving time.
